Piers 1½, 3 and 5 are ideally located in San Francisco along the northeast waterfront of the Financial District on the Embarcadero, between Washington Street and Broadway.

The Piers have been nominated as one of the finalists for the 2010 ULI Awards for Excellence. The Piers are one of 17 nominees out of 170 applicants. The Piers were also awarded the 2009 San Francisco Beautiful Award, the 2007 California Preservation Foundation Preservation Design Award and the 2006 San Francisco Business Times Deal of the Year Award for Best Rehabiliation or Renovation. The Piers were also nominated for Best Mixed Use Project.
